Silverstein hit fans with some exciting news - dropping their video for "Whiplash" and a long list of Winter tour dates. Silverstein set out on The Get Free Tour this month in Cleveland alongside With Tonight Alive, Broadside and Picturesque.
"Whiplash" is the band's latest single from their ninth studio album Dead Reflection. The music video - directed by Wyatt Clough and Roger Galvez, was filmed in California and Canada over the past few months. "Whiplash" alternates between shots of the band performing and a distraught young woman driving down a deserted road - emulating the back and forth feeling of whiplash. The imagery is clever and simple yet stunning - with distinct thematic emphasis on a potential car wreck, both physically and emotionally.
With the upcoming tour made up solely of American dates, this Burlington-bred band continues to prove their presence and deliver to fans far beyond their hometown roots. For Canadians interested in catching Silverstein on the road this Winter, take a trip across the border to Buffalo's Town Ballroom on February 26th.
