From August 17-19, Riverfest celebrates its 10th year with an impressive lineup featuring Blue Rodeo, Carly Rae Jepsen, Flaming Lips and July Talk.
Music, art, food trucks and vendors set up along the picturesque Grand River for the three day festival in the beautiful Bissel Park. Riverfest brings all the bells and whistles of a big festival to the small town of Elora. Above all else, this festival is centred around community, sustainability and music that carries on in memory of Founder and Elora artist Marilyn Koop who passed away in 2012.
What started off as a backyard festival has grown into a summer festival staple for many - drawing attendees from near and far. Along with huge headliners, RiverFest showcases mainstream and local artists alike of varying styles and genres across three stages.
RiverFest is one of Ontario's best festivals and an all-in-one essential summer experience with live music, camping, hot food and cold beer all packed into one incredible weekend.

SZ picks:
The Flaming Lips - Saturday, August 18th @ 9:30
The Flaming Lips have been around for nearly four decades and though they have an impressive discography of hit songs, their live show is what truly sets them apart from other acts. From lights and confetti to giant hamster balls and unicorns - there is no telling what to expect from a Flaming Lips set but what's guaranteed is an eclectic, immersive concert experience.
Carly Rae Jepsen - Saturday, August 18th @ 7:30
This Canadian pop-star first emerged in 2007 - placing third on Canadian Idol. However, it wasn't until 2012 that Carly Rae Jepsen rapidly gained mainstream attention with the undeniably catchy earworm "Call Me Maybe." So far, she has released three studio albums - most recently highly acclaimed E•MO•TION. Carly Rae continues to release infectious, upbeat, feel-good pop music and is sure to have the crowd singing, smiling and dancing along.
July Talk - Friday, August 17th @ 9:35
Leah Fay's soft voice contrasts with Peter Dreimanis' thrash vocals combine to make up the one-of-a-kind alt-rock band July Talk. This band is no stranger to the mainstream - with multiple chart-topping radio singles from their debut self-titled release and their most recent 2016 album Touch. With a reputation for hit songs such as "Push + Pull" and an explosive live show - July Talk is a must-see at this year's Riverfest.
The Beaches - Saturday, August 18th @ 5:45
Since winning the 2018 Juno Award for Breakthrough Group of the Year, The Beaches keep breaking through with new hits and huge performances. Last month, the four-piece female alt-rockers were excited to open for the Foo Fighters. Performing alongside big names at this year's Riverfest, these women have what it takes to stand out and be a weekend highlight.
Rich Aucoin - Sunday, August 19th @ 8:35
Rich Aucoin's music is just as much visual as is it auditory - making his performances both engaging and interactive. He brings music lovers together by incorporating a large parachute to dance under, reminding us of simpler times. He has released two studio albums and three EP's but his experimental sound and energetic live show is the best way to indulge.
