Kassia Karrera – an up and coming dark pop-R&B artist from Montreal, is a mysterious creator whose music speaks for itself. Much like her 2019 debut titled "Light Switch," Kassia's newest song "In Too Deep" is also a bonafide earworm.

"In Too Deep" is a collaboration with multi-talented audio engineer and producer Jacob Lacroix-Cardinal, who has worked with industry heavyweights such as Charlie Puth, Offset, Rosalía, A$AP Ferg and Young M.A. Collectively, they deliver an ominous bop for the alternative pop-R&B realm, that blends a playful melody with sultry vocals, backed by an eerie yet alluring, atmospheric arrangement.

Karrera comments:

"A bouncy bassline, guitar synths and a bright, confident vocal come together throughout the track as I come to the realization that I have fallen for a lover too easily distracted. [The song] is inspired by the pull and tug of caring for somebody more than they care for you."

Along with her sophomore single comes the release of her self-shot lyric video, which was filmed in the back seat of her old BMW on a late, sleepless night.

Though there isn't a lot we know yet about this enigmatic being, her overall vibe – both sonically and artistically, creates a captivating curiosity and an appetite for more.
