17-year-old singer-songwriter sensation renforshort releases her genre-spanning debut EP teenage angst via Interscope Records/Universal Music Canada. The EP is a collection of seven soul-baring, youth-driven songs about young love, anxiety, restlessness, and self-image, among other personal topics which captures the fleeting, ultimately beautiful uncertainties that come with growing up.

Additionally, due to the unprecedented circumstances surrounding the coronavirus and for the wellbeing of her fans, the previously scheduled EP release shows in NY and LA next week have been postponed. The dates will be rescheduled, and previously purchased tickets will be honoured for the new dates or refunds will be available via point of purchase. Check venue websites for updates and further information.

Speaking of the release, renforshort explains:

“I’m really looking forward to the release of this EP. It’s a very special body of work to me because it is incredibly personal and honest. I like to believe there's a song on there for everyone! I am, however, super bummed that I had to cancel the shows in New York and LA. I was really looking forward to doing them and meeting everyone. Hopefully, they’ll be rescheduled for sooner rather than later and we can all sing together. Xo Lauren”

The rising star continues to receive massive critical praise with previous releases off the EP – the power-pop anthem “i drive me mad”, the grungy, guitar-driven “idc,” and “new way” which showcases her captivating and distinctive vocals. renforshort released her debut single “waves” in early 2019, followed by “mind games” in June, which have since racked up over 8 million streams. The songs landed her on lists such as Apple Music’s Artist of the Week (May 2019) & Soundcloud’s Artist to Watch (August 2019).
